Driving Directions:
Camden is right on the coast midway between Portland and Acadia National
Park.
From Boston
(4 hours)
Take I-95 North toward New Hampshire/Maine. After crossing into Maine
and
South of Portland, take Exit 44 to I-295 North through Portland, Yarmouth,
Freeport, and Brunswick. Or as an option, continue on I-95 (for 8 more
miles) through Auburn/Lewiston and North of Portland take Exit 52 (I-95
to I-295
Connector/Falmouth Spur) to I-295 North.
Continue North on I-295 to Exit 31 Topsham. Exit right on ME-196, continue
for 2.7 miles to US 1 North toward Bath, bear Left onto Route 1.
Follow Route 1 for 42.8 miles through Bath, Woolwich, Wiscasset, Newcastle,
Nobleboro and into Waldoboro. Stay on Rte. 1 and turn left onto Rte.
90 (which is 6 miles beyond Rte 32 in Waldoboro).
Follow Rte. 90 for 10.7 miles and turn left onto Rte. 1.
Stay on Rte. 1 for 1.9 miles through Downtown Camden and turn left onto
Rte. 52 (Mountain Street) by the Library. Continue up Rte. 52 for 1/4
mile to the Swan House. Our driveway is just past our sign.
From Acadia National Park (2
Hours)
Take Route 3 from Mount Desert Island and turn left
onto Route 1 (South) at Ellsworth. Stay on Rte. 1 for about 55 miles to Camden.
Turn right at Jct. 52 (Mountain Street) which is right before entering Downtown.
Continue up Rte. 52 for 1/4 mile to the Swan House. Our driveway
is just past our sign.
