About Swan House

Nestled at the foot of scenic Mount Battie, Swan House has welcomed visitors to Camden since 1983. Built in 1870 by the Swans, and for many years their family home, this charming Victorian bed and breakfast inn offers a private haven off the beaten path in a lovely, quiet setting.
Swan House is a small, intimate inn, furnished with antiques and a warm, friendly atmosphere. The six guest rooms, with private baths, are comfortably yet tastefully decorated. Guest rooms are located in the Main House and in the Carriage House, and each is whimsically named for a different type of swan.
In the morning, guests gather in the airy sunporch to enjoy a generous country breakfast of fresh fruit, breads and muffins, along with a hearty breakfast entree. Relax in our comfortable parlors or discover the shaded gazebo - the perfect place to converse, catch up on a favorite book, or plan your stay in Camden.
